Benefits of IELTS One Skill Retake
- Focus on one skill: If you didn’t perform at your best in your first attempt, the IELTS One Skill Retake gives you a second chance to demonstrate your English proficiency and improve your score in a specific skill without retaking the entire test. You will save time and money by retaking only one skill instead of all four.
- Consistent test structure: IELTS One Skill Retake follows the same format and time constraints as the regular IELTS test. The test structure remains unchanged, so candidates do not need to worry about preparing for an entirely new test or familiarizing themselves with different question formats.
- Updated Test Report Form (TRF): Candidates will receive a new IELTS Test Report Form, which includes scores for the three skills from the initial test and updates the score for the chosen skill in the IELTS One Skill Retake, with a total score according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Your test result remains valid for two years from the initial test date as shown on your Test Report Form.
- Initial test score remains unchanged: The scores for the other skills in your initial test will remain unchanged. Therefore, after receiving your results, you can use your initial test scores if you wish.
